We bought some finger rolls and currant buns on a recent trip to the Island. Omg, they are amazing. Especially the currant buns ... Traditional, with real sugar on the top. They are an absolute must.

Tracked down some bread to this bakery- it is absolutely fantastic-easily some of the best bread I have ever eaten- the crusty rolls are absolutely first class, the staff are friendly and the queues a testament to how many other people enjoy their products- excellent!

Popped in here a few days ago while in the area. I'm a big sausage roll fan so like to try out different ones whenever I see a bakery I haven't been in before. Ordered 2 and they were lovely and tasty. Reasonable too - both for £2.40. Still warm so nice and fresh, nice meat inside. Highly recommend this bakery

Lovely fresh hand made breads, and a nice selection of cakes. The bread I had was full of flavor and delicious, a real difference to shop bought bread and not expensive. All breads are hand made ftesh every day. Great value for money from a proper bakery.
The one and only Village bakery! Delicious bread and cakes all hand made , very pleasant and friendly service. My favourite is the millionaire shortcake, thumbs up for me! Would highly recommend a visit if your ever in freshwater. :D

Chelsea rolls with cinnamon and raisins are something amazing. They have delicious large baguettes
